The Product Image Zoom Magento extension adds the possibility for directly displaying a magnified image of a product without leaving the catalog grid/list in your Magento Store. Moving the cursor over a product image causes the appearence of a larger picture next to the thumbnail. The Product Image Zoom extension works very fast and uses the standard small and large images in the Magento Store. No need of preparing additional images: the original product image is overlaid over another image and so you get a nice shadow effect without preparing the images in a graphic programm. It looks good with light as well as with dark images:




You can enable or disable the extension and set its parameters through the Magento backend .

The Product Image Zoom package is fully implemented in JavaScript. No plugins like Flash or Java required. The zoom package comes with detailed installation instructions.
